History
The institution is run by an educational and charitable foundation, “The Poona Gujarati Kelwani Mandal”, Pune. It provides quality education to youngsters, who are the future of our nation. The medium of instruction is **English**, and the faculty is well-qualified and dedicated to the profession. Initially, the strength was very low, but now the number of students has increased to **120** as we offer options for both **Commerce & Science streams**. We offer **Mathematics** as an option for **Secretarial Practice (S.P.)** for the Commerce stream, and **Geography** as an option for **Mathematics & Biology** in the Science stream. **Information Technology** was introduced as an option for **Marathi** in both Commerce and Science streams. All these options were introduced in **2015 & 2016** respectively.

☛ Specialization - History
☛ Course Details - General course offered at the level of FY which lasts for a year. Specialization available at the level of SY and TY level. SY and TY are for one year each. At the level of specialization (SY and TY) extra credit course is mandatory for students to complete. At the level of TY, one research project is required to be submitted by the students.

☛ Course Features - A Bachelor's in History program includes core courses on world, regional, and thematic history, emphasizing historical research methods and critical analysis. Students can specialize in areas such as ancient, medieval, or modern history. The interdisciplinary approach integrates fields like political science and sociology. A capstone project or senior thesis involves original research. The program offers electives, skill development in critical thinking and writing, and opportunities for internships in museums or archives.
